A Solar Buddy comes with a solar powered light and fan that works all the time with no electricity connection. It is a simple application of solar photovoltaic technology, which provides a good solution for rural areas, street vendors and also for camping, travel or power cuts. It is Solar powered, rechargeable and portable with minimum maintenance and no electricity bills. It has LED Panels to give you bright light output and a fan to keep cool in hot weather conditions.. It is made of four main components – the solar PV panel, the storage battery and the LED Panel and a DC Fan. The solar energy is converted to electrical energy and can be used free in day time and also stored in a sealed maintenance-free battery for later use during the night hours.
Solar Light
Solar light as the name indicates, is a light that glows with solar power. It has a solar panel connected to a solar chargeable battery and a LED panel. The battery is chosen in a manner that it charges all through the daytime and can glow a LED panel for around 8 hours.
The power from the solar panel is directly consumed by the LED panel in the daytime. LED panel is the right choice as it consumes less power. It is compact and portable structure that can be used in kiosk and can also be carried and used in tents at night.
Solar Fan
Solar fan assembly consists of a solar panel, a DC fan and the solar chargeable battery. The solar PV panel is connected to a solar chargeable battery and the DC fan. While the sun shines in the daytime, the fan runs from the solar power taken directly from the panel. After sunset, the battery that is charged the whole day is used to run the fan.
Solar Street Light
Solar street light is an idea that calls for a green energy solution for the whole nation. It also is a solution to lighten up the village where conventional power has not reached at all or is available only for a few hours. The assembly consists of a LED street light with battery and a solar panel. As the power requirement is more, batteries with more power are used. A LDR sensor automatically switches on the lights when it gets dark and switches off when it is bright sunlight. The panels charge the battery during daytime.
