Power cuts, high electricity bills, hotter days, drastic weather changes!
It forces us to think about what we are doing to our planet, doesn’t it?
In the past year, the non-power sectors have seen a fall of 33% in coal dispatches. This way, the world will come to a halt without electricity. It’s time to switch to the alternate and renewable energy sources.
Is there no way to save ourselves?
The answer is right in front of us, harnessing the power of the sun, i.e. solar energy. It’s 100% clean and available free of cost. It’s sustainable and renewable. All we need to do is tap into its potential. But why are we not adopting it? There is a lack of awareness and many myths that stop us from adopting solar power.
Our purpose is to make students aware of the might of solar energy. The power of the sun can help us save communities, significantly reduce the use of electricity and reduce carbon footprints to protect the Earth.
Did you know ?
Sunlight is converted into electricity without the need for local water supplies and solar energy doesn’t pollute our waterways like fossil fuels do. By switching to solar powered energy, we can drastically reduce our household’s carbon footprint, which is the total greenhouse gas emissions caused by our homes.
Solar Power is renewable.
Per unit cost of solar power is less than conventional electricity we are using. It’s continuous supply with little maintenance, so no power cuts or limited consumption of power. Climate action provides an exceptional opportunity to unlock massive economic and social benefits that can help us achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Addressing the challenges of environmental sustainability is imperative for Game Changer Solar to fulfill its mandate and protect the world.
Our approach to sustainability is integrated across our core activities. We aim to spread awareness in communities through our students about renewable energy sources, focusing on solar energy.
Empower communities to understand the use of clean, abundant, low-cost, distributed and renewable energy.
Spread awareness to accelerate the adoption of solar energy systems and achieve energy security. We achieve this by starting a Solar curriculum for students. By training students to become Solar Engineers, we aim to increase sustainability of resource use and potentially increase our quality of life, economic activity, and the environment.
Our approach to sustainability is integrated across our core activities. We aim to spread awareness in communities through our students about renewable energy sources, focusing on solar energy.
Our core values reinforce our approach to educate communities about sustainability. We are committed to deliver value by motivating people to use sustainable and renewable energy solutions and hence reducing carbon footprints.
